Hello!!

Hello everyone!! Sorry I have not posted in the last couple of days. I am not going to try to catch up. My family is here from Arizona so I am crazy busy with entertaining them. Yesterday I picked them up at the airport and as soon as they arrived here at my house they all crashed. Later we went to dinner at Ivars on the waterfront for dinner and then took a ferry ride over to Bainbridge Island. Today we will probably go down to the locks or go to Snoqualmie Falls. Then I have Saturday, Sunday and Monday off. I am doing a reality show called Meet the Schultheiss's for announcements so hopefully it will go well. I'll see you all on Sunday at church, update my mom might come to church also so super cool.

Video announcement swimmingly good and Ultimate Smack Down!

Well the video announcement went real well today I was quite impressed witht the response and I really didn't do that much to come up with it. I guess people just think I'm a funny guy. I really like the challenge of videos and its a fun way to get church going. After church we went to Baja Fresh. I like their food but it is kinda expensive.

After getting back from lunch I scooted over to Ballard North. I rode my scoot today even though this was a horrible day for riding. Rain, wind, cold, etc. I even think there was some hale out there and I don't mean the Bop. A bunch of us went over to Ballard High School to play ultimate frisbee. There was a group of about 7 or 8 of us. We even got Megtar out there playing for awhile which was cool, I'm glad she made the effort. The games were pretty intensive my team started out 4-0 but then when we got the upper hand with having 4 people against three we came back to win 10-8 but you know what it's not about the game. I am just glad that my group of friends is into a fun game like I really enjoy playing. One thing that wasn't so fun but it was OK was that I went up in the air to get one that was over my head and as I was in the air George tackled me basically. He made some solid contact with me but in the end I still held onto the frisbee and that was good. I was sorry because I was a little mad at George at first and reacted wrongly for the situation but I realized it and that was good. Love ya George!!

BBQ Madness, Housewarming and now fishing!!

At 4:00 PM I left the building to go to the youth group BBQ with Philly church. Gumba and I had a grill off to see who could make the best burgers. No actually it was just that we had two grills going so I had one and he had the other. They actually turned out real good. We had a decent turn out for this event. Fortunately some of our kids ended up coming this time so that was awesome. We had like four that came I think. I went to the top of Gasworks hill to iceblock. I was the only one who ended up doing it but it was fun and others laughed at me so that was cool. I was also flying a kite I got for White elephant last year and I handed it to Joey and he handed it to Kelsey but somewhere in the exchange there was a mixup and the Kite got away. It was just flapping in the breeze caught up in a tree just mocking us "Hey look at me I'm flying and I don't need you" I lost the kite basically but thats cool.

After that I went over to Kris's house to check out here new pad down by the airport. She just bought a condo of her own that's cool. I was mostly there because I knew Dex was going to be there and if I know she is somewhere I really like to make an effort to be there. It was cool we met some of Kris's friends from work, I got there late so I didn't catch their names. But one guy worked for Amazon in like computer networks or something and his girlfriend was getting her masters in some fisheries thing at UW they seemed like cool people to hang with.

After that I went to Ballard North but nothing was happening so I left at 10 and went home but I really wanted to try some fishing of my dock at my place so I am going to do that right now. The new video announcement is posted on YouTube under the lifer4jc account check it out. Later,

Godly Movie and Gosh this movie!!

Tonight after getting done with my work I went over to Ballard to watch a movie. Since I didn't want to watch one alone I called Boptimus Prime and asked him if he wanted to go. I was going to see Ocean's 13 but he had already seen it so I compromised and watched Evan Almighty. I was a little leery of this movie because it looked like maybe it was going to be a spoof about God or something. It actually turned out to be a pretty clean movie. I actually ended up liking it, it was predictable and a little cheesy but it was funny and didn't have the sexual innuendo so it was good.

After it was over I went up to the North Compound to see what was going on. The only person I found was Preggo (current nickname) aka Swweeet Melissa but that was cool because she wanted to go get some fruit at Ballard Market. So Bop, Swwwweeeetttt Mel, and I went to the Market. When we got there we got a surprise, Nia was working. I bought a peach it was delicious. Nia actually got off work right after she helped us and we gave her a ride home because she had her bike and was not feeling well. She wanted to get the movie "The Fountain". We got it and took it to George's apartment to watch. Skate or Live!!, Nia, and I watched the movie. I really thought to myself dang this movie is kinda boring, it put me to sleep several times eventually I was so tired I left before it was over and that's my story for the day.

And now for this commercial break!

Today was a fun interesting day. I did my normal amount of work at the condo but during my lunch I went to the Summer Camp meeting for foursquare. It was cool to connect with all the other youth pastors in the Puget Sound area. I have made some good friends and contacts in being involved in this situation. God is going to do some amazing stuff through camp this year. It's going to be an marathon week at camp. I will be at camp for like 9 days straight. After work I had a board meeting at my condo. It was short for me because I just gave my report and then they said I could go.

I got done early so that was a bonus! I went to the PC to get some human interaction. I miss having George around he is a great guy to hang out with and he always can make events happen. I decided this week to do something different on video announcements because I knew that the Air Soft wars series was going to be hard to bring all the people together to make it happen. So I decided to go a different way and cut to a commercial break. So I pretended to do a monster truck rally announcement and then a commercial like I was a car lot salesman selling announcements. It was fun I hope everyone stays excited about these video announcements.

Grilling and Chilling!!

Hey today I finally stopped being a slacker and started some training for the events that are coming up. I will be running the marathon in Bellevue on the 8th of July and then riding the STP bike ride the next weekend the 14th of July. I ran for one hour and then later I rode my bike to church. It felt good to be active again instead of being a blob on the couch.

After church I invited people to come over to my house for a BBQ. Megtar and Nia canceled on me that kind of sucked but they had other things to do oh well. I had Harbie, Coolness, Bix, Bop, and Crazy Arms over to feast on a meal that I prepared for everyone. I really like having a BBQ and a great place so I can invite people over to share in the bounty of food that I currently have. The dinner was quite good considering I basically just threw it together. We had Chicken, green beans, potato salad, spinach salad, and chips. I made large portions because I didn't know how many were going to show up. I was glad with the people who did because it was a fun time of hanging out with them. We had a great conversation and ended the night by watching Dirty Jobs on Discovery so it was a fun night.

Girl Time!!

Today was a fun day. I did some painting around the building. The thing that really was annoying to me is that I tried to change my tire on my bike and it took forever like 45 minutes and then when I was putting it back on the bike it blew out. I didn't even get to get on my bike and I got a flat that is why I am such an amazing cyclist. That's how I get the name Captain Flat.

After work I went over to the PC to do some possible filming for Air Soft wars part 3 but no one was really around that I needed to shoot the scenes so I think this week I am going to do something different like make everone think that the third part is coming but then cut to commercial break and do some commercial parodies for fun and then maybe going back to the story. It may be hard though because my parents are arriving next Thursday morning.

I went with the girls to Bubble Tea in the U district. I had fun it was like reliving the past when the girls and I used to have girltime. I don't think I fully get girl time but its a little fun joke we have between us. I ended up just coming home after we got back so I was home early for me.

Monday's Norm and The Little Mermaid??

Well my normal Monday happened. I was on my way down to the church to do some work. I like helping at the church for two reasons mainly, 1. It helps to make the church look nicer and I have free time on Monday and the other reason is because I get to see some of my friends that I don't normally get a chance to see. Dex, Harbie, Coolness and the Oak all work in the church office so I get to hang with them for a little bit of time on Mondays. Today I mowed the lawns at the church. They were really needing the attention so it all looked good when I was done and the Oak was happy because it was one less thing that he had to do.

On my way too the church I got a phone call from my old work. A lady there needed me to clean out her storage locker for her. She said I could have anything that I wanted out of it so that was cool. There was a lot of paint and painting stuff but also some drill bits and some anchors and that type of stuff. I also got some new paint brushes and such so that was a nice added bonus. I basically made 40 dollars of the deal and it took me about two hours but I also got all that stuff for free. When I was done with the church stuff I went over there to work. I gave my old boss a gift certificate because of all the jobs that she has been throwing my way. I actually set up another job for next Monday as well. and today I got called for another one there on Monday.

The Healing rooms were slow tonight. We ministered to 5 people but God was still awesome. He always shows up no matter how many people end up coming. There was a guy there tonight who heard about us through the internet and wanted to come check it out. He went to the Bethel school of ministry for 1 year. I told him about our school and the school of the prophets thing that is going to be happening with Jeremy this summer.

After HR we went to buy food at Choy's Chinese restaurant on Queene anne ave. I went over to Meg's house and we all ate Chinese and watched the Little Mermaid. It was Megtar, Nia, Bix, and Meg's friend steph and I. It was fun I like hanging around Nia because she is a fun chick. We watched the little Mermaid because it is something that I have wanted to watch ever since seeing the White Family Revue which was based on the Little Mermaid. For more info see my post titled White Family Revue!! That was all it's cool God is doing amazing things in people and in myself.

Father's Day Means Family Time!

The second installment of the video announcements was great I think it got a pretty good reception at church. People are starting to get behind having the announcements, the kids are even staying for announcements because they want to see what is going to happen next. It is cool to have something that people are excited about. I was pleased as well when I looked over and saw that Pastor Doug was laughing so that was cool.

After church I went to Red Robin with a bunch of people at like 2:00 PM. I was not even going to go because I was supposed to be at the Brady place 3:30 PM for dinner. But I went anyway because I am a people person. I had a Royal Red Robin burger and a bunch of fries. i left there full and not knowing what I was going to do when I got to their house. Fortunate for me my metabolism was running on high speed and I was actually hungry again when we started to eat at 4:00 PM. I had a great day hanging with the Brady's and the Holmes. When I was over at their house I got a call from Dex's parents to come over to their house to watch a movie with them. I was very happy with that because to me that means that Dex is not uncomfortable hanging out with me and that is a great thing because she is a great person and i really enjoy hanging out with her. We watched Blackbeard. It was a pirate movie in the essence of Pirates of the Caribbean but it was before that time. It was fun and that is another thing I like about her she likes to comment about movies so that is fun because people know I am a talker when it comes to movies. Another cool twist to the story is that she gave me another book about Africa because I asked her to so that I could understand her heart and passion for Africa. I want to know her more on a personal level and this is one of the best ways. And I learn about the gross injustices and the need that Africa has and my heart grows with compassion. Later Skater!!

Saturday Post: One Word: Work.

This day was entirely devoted to work. I worked at my building for about 4 hours which is more than normally but after work I was asked by one of my old co workers to work for him as a concierge at Seattle Heights. I figured hey thats cool I can make about 50 or 60 extra bucks so I decided to do it. It was cool because I finished the video while working the front desk. It was nice to see people from my old buildings reaction when they realized it was me behind the desk. They really loved me at that building. I also did an email that helped my friends who asked me to share some testimonies about what God is doing in the Healing Rooms.

Friday Post: Knaterider Wedding & Late night Ultimate!!

This day went entirely to the Knaterider and Natters wedding day. It was such an amazing wedding. I was very impressed it was like a storybook wedding. We even gave them a scooter escort as they were leaving the reception. I really liked the guy who officiated the wedding. He was a young guy, I believe he was the husband of one of Natters sisters. I actually enjoyed listening to someone other than Pastor Doug because it was different and my friends know that different is my word.

I guess playing ultimate frisbee really got George and Smackey excited to play ultimate more and after the wedding we did a late night ultimate frisbee. We played 3 on 3 and it was actually quite fun. The only setback was that I think one of my toes got screwed up. It may even be broken but you know what I don't have any pain so I'm already healed. God is awesome!!

Thursday Post: Air Soft Wars #2

I have been behind on my blogging sorry for those who like to read my blogs. I am going to try to remember what happened. On Thursday, actually was a really good night because I got the rest of the video finished which was a huge relief because I don't like to have to rush to finish things. Now I have a ton of help people want to help all over the place. 30-30 is doing a great job with his role, and everyone else as well, I really am enjoying this it is fun to let the creative funny side of me come out. One thing I have been noticing about myself is that God is really moving in my heart, he is trying to get me to a place where I have a ton of intimacy with Him. I want to know everything that I can about Him and who He is.

After filming at the PC there was another talk with Dex. This went pretty well according to my understanding. It was quite nice to actually talk to this person in person I felt alot more comfortable that way than any other. I will leave it at that because I want to keep this close because alot of people out there know this person.

Air Wars & Scooting!!

Well the major happenings of the day were the new video announcement. We started shooting the first scene but just today I found out we have 5 announcements so that is actually quite a large load. I really am not sure how I'm going to be able to put that many announcements in one video but I will do my best and hopefully people will continue to like the videos. We got a chance to film one sequence and I may use some of the mistakes to do another voiceover because there are so many announcements. I have R2 and C3po and the introduction of a new character, Luke Skywalker actually played by myself and the jawa leader played by the Energizer bunny. It should hopefully be an interesting mix to bring it all together. I really like writing these stories and having fun with it. I have a bunch of people who want to be a part of it as well so that is good.

After church, all the girls were at Natters bridal shower so the guys decided to ride their scoots over to my house. George, The StoryTeller, Das Machine the next generation, and I all rode the scoots from my house down to the church to drop off Das Machine NG. After we dropped him off we went toward the Ballard North Dorm by way of Golden Gardens. We stopped at GG and peed and then drove down to the end of GG and did some sweet jumps over the speed bumps. I actually got both wheels off the ground on my scoot, that was kinda fun.

There was actually another event that was quite significant. I actually got a call from Dex because she asked if I got a email from her and I was like no I didn't see an email from her. When I said no I believe it caught her off guard. Anyway I don't want to go through to many details on here because I believe there are probably people on here who know who i'm talking about so if you want to know about this you can ask me and if I feel it's appropriate I will share with you. Basically in the end I felt good about the conversation that we had. I will leave it at that which if you know me that is quite a hard thing for me to do because I like to be open and honest with people and I say what I feel usually but to protect myself and this person I will leave it where it is at. I don't even know if all that made sense but I hope it does.

White Family Revue!!

Well the main thing that I remembered about Tuesday was that I went to the Little Mermaid dance recital. Energizer Bunny, El Boo, and Blim Bam Tim were all a part of the show. Man this making nicknames thing is really getting into my head. Anyway they had there last dress rehearsal before they start the performances, I will not be able to make it this year so they invited me to the dress rehearsal. This was neat because this was kind of like the behind the scenes look at how they put the show together. The only drawback to this was that it took a 2 hour show and extended it to four hours. These kids put in an incredible amount of work to get ready for one of these shows. The White kids were in several scenes of the show and Blim Bam Tim was one of the main characters so they all did a lot of dancing so that was cool. Bix, Chewie, Texareyoukiddinme, Lizhoo!, Wendola, Thunder, and Terryoke and I were all in the audience watching. Bix, Chewie, and I were having a whole load of fun making jokes about the thing and it was interesting because the owner of the dance studio and main director of the show was right in front of us it was fun.

Afterwards needless to say I was hungry and so were the kids. We all went to Red Robin to grab a bite to eat , it was great to hang with friends. I am tired and must go to bed I will write more tomorrow.

Ultimate Protester Shut Down!

Well today was just a normal crazy day in the life of The Toph. Not really it was quite different actually. I went to the church painted over some graffitti cleaned some walls and then got together with the regulars (Omelete, Dex, Harbie, & Coolness(i just made this one up)) to play ultimate Frisbee like we have started to do every Monday at around 3 at the Seattle Center. Today, George, Smackey & Megtar joined us as well so we had a chance to play 3 on 3. It was a lot of fun.
I was proud of George for coming with me to do something that he would not normally maybe do but knew me well enough to know that this regular time was important to me for various reasons. The game was fun and competative. When we were done Dex wanted to see if she could beat the car home so she asked me to run with her, I did and we only lost by one block but that was because we got stopped by a light. She is a really cool chick.

The Healing rooms was next on the slate for the day. We only had 2 people come in the first hour which is slow. So of course I started sending people home and then we only had one team. 4 people came in the last hour and 3 of those were in the last half hour so it got a little busy at the end but that's cool. We got out of there about 9:30 or so.
We were discussing what to do next. We decided to go back to Ballard north and have a campfire, well George really likes campfires so we had a campfire, which I am banned from participating in now because of a few things I did. I was just trying to have some fun that's all. George, Megtar, Nia, her dreadful (she's not bad just has a head full of dreadlocks) friend and I decided again to revisit the old times and I guess the new ones as well and drive to Monroe to see Aloha.
When we got there she was awesome as usual and fun. I bought microwave popcorn and she was schooling me on how to make it and various other things but the funniest part was when we went to the register to pay she started talking about people who picket and how they don't do any good!! This was super funny because that is all we talked about in the car you see because Nia's friend is a protestor and when Aloha started talking about protestor Nia's friend wanted to start a debate with Aloha but she was having none of that and she shut the conversation down basically kicked her to the curb it was actually really funny but you had to be there to get the full experience.

The debut & Seattle's Creepiest catch

I was not ready to get up for church in the morning because I had been been up so late producing the video but I got up anyway and was only late to preservice prayer by like 10 minutes. I was fortunate because I was unaware that I was supposed to be on prayer teams that morning. The air soft wars debuted today and I believe the response went real well. Church was fun and had a good time, went out to Sushiland for lunch with 112, Skate or Live, Das Machine Part 2, and his sister and her boyfriend. I was pleased to be eating sushi again.

After church I had a meeting for the youth group with Philly church. We decided that the Amazing Race would be postponed until later. After that I meet my friends at University Villiage and then we went over to my house and just hung out. Then we went back to their place in Ballard for another BBQ and I stopped and got a fishing license so we could go fishing later at Greenlake.

Yes fishing at Greenlake is Seattle's real creepiest catch. You would not think that this great place to hang out would be creepy but late at night there are interesting people who end up there. George, The StoryTeller, and Omelete to participate in a fishing extravaganza. The fishing was intense and the StoryTeller was able to catch a nice big old carp still not the deadly part yet. The deadly part is the creepy guy who was watching us from the bushes. When George went over to him he turned and ran into the bushes, weird! Ok he is still watching us but from a different area. He comes back to his truck and leaves but then he comes back later with another guy in a truck so now there are two creepy guys in two trucks at two different areas looking at the four of us. Then another guy pulls up who is all weirded out on some drug and he is rocking in his car playing mariachi music quite loudly. I ended up getting home at 4 in the morning. It was great but that was Seattle's Creepiest Catch.

China #3 & Air Soft Wars

Well this post is for Saturday. I'm a little behind on my posting. Saturday was a big busy day for me. I had to get my house ready for entertaining 6 people besides myself. I ended up only working for the building for about one hour. I had to go to Costco and spent 200 dollars.

The menu for the Holmes family China presentation was diamond scored Tri- tip steaks covered with extra virgin olive oil ( Why do they call it extra virgin olive oil anyway?? and is there a plain old virgin olive oil??) garlic, rosemary, and some other stuff. The meat was great I was quite pleased. Green Beans with Chinese 5 spice powder and almonds which was quite good. Salad with Baby spinach, mozzarella, tomatoes, and oil and balsamic oil. For dessert we had pistachio bark which was really amazing.

The presentation went really well with the new setup with the video cord. Which I was really pleased with it went efficiently and was actually interesting.I love the Holmes they are a great bunch to hang out with and also the Bradys are a part of that. So I like the Bradys very much as well.

The first video announcement was great and I really think that people enjoyed it. I stayed up till 3:30 AM producing the video and getting it ready to be played in church. I used parts of the movie and then spliced my own footage in and it flowed together well and was funny so I was pleased not bad for a first time try.

Enough already!! OK see you!!

HCM Graduation

The big deal today was the Horizon College of Ministry graduation ceremony. My friend George is the dean of this college. This is a first year college that has two graduates. There were about 50 people at the ceremony and it was cool because one of my other friends KnateRider (like Knight Rider the TV show) was one of the graduates. He has grown a tremendous amount in the last three years since he has been at Horizon. I remember when he first came and he was kind of this bouncy out of control kid and now he is this mature young adult that is fun and a joy to be around. He also is getting married next friday so like Pastor Doug said " He is going to have his bachelor's degree for one week but then next week he's getting his Mr. degree." I thought that was funny. It was a pretty short ceremony and it was good. The other graduate was Lolly from Philly church who is going to be a missionary in Ecuador.

I got my vacuum cleaner back yesterday which meant that I actually had to work just kidding. I usually work about three or four hours a day. I probably won't get that much done today though because I have a ton of stuff to get done and the Holmes are coming over tonight for dinner and China presentation but that is OK I love them and this will be there first time at seeing my new place.

The Toph

In the beginning......

This is Thursday's blog I got a day behind. This was the first day for the video announcements. Hence the title in the beginning. I was actually not sure it was ever going to happen because it is very hard to get people together to shoot a movie especially if you are not paying them and since I really don't have that high of a budget, I can't pay all the people who are in the production. I got like three of the scenes for the video done quickly but then it stalled out and now I am just going to have to make stuff up to fill in the blanks and blend it all together somehow. I am going to produce it today, which is now Saturday. It's OK though I think that it will be a good start and once it's all done it will be good.

Another big event that happened today was that I did something out of the ordinary for a friend of mine. Her name is Dex and she has been studying very hard for her school this week. I decided that I was going to give her a gift. I made her a sign that said Study Break! but I signed it with ??? so if you know me and you know this girl please don't say anything to her I want her to figure it out on her own. OK George??? Anyway I loaded the bag with some of my world famous brownies, some Vitamin Water (yellow her favorite), grapes, a little mermaid fan, a pez dispenser, celery sticks and peanut butter, and microwave popcorn. I think that all of those would be good study break foods. Especially the popcorn they say that it is like brain food you know. Anyway I hope that this does not strain the relationship, I was just trying to be a cool friend. I feel like I am supposed to wait till the end of summer and then reevaluate my thoughts about her and then go from there.

Aluha or Aloha?

This day only calls for one event that I am going to devote my time here to. Tuesday night at about 10:30 my friends and I decided to revisit some of our old times and do something we have not done in probably over a year. So 10:30 is normally pretty late but you know what this event is totally worth it. We introduced 2 newbies to the scene Nia and the Dwray. Megtar, George and I have been several times. For this ritual we jump in a car and drive to Monroe, WA to go to a 76 gas station. Sounds like fun right??? It is about a 45 minute drive but it is cool because you get to talk to one another for 45 minutes and spend time with one another. Once we get to Monroe that is where we meet the infamous Aluha or Aloha.

On this occasion we pulled up to the station and I thought that she was not there and I was disappointed but we went in anyway. There were two cop cars parked outside, so that looked like an interesting time. We walked in and there she was talking to the police officers and I said " Hi Aluha!!" she said hi and went behind the counter. The cops asked me "What did you call her??" I said "Aluha" and they said "Oh her name is Aloha." Oops! Oh Well! We got up to the register after getting an amazing fountain drink, some nachos, hot horchata, some pepperoni sticks, and proceeded to pay. The whole time this was going on we were chatting with her. She said something about robots trying to steal from her store and that she had a desire to give to people in need, one time she bought a couch at a church yard sale for 5 bucks and put it in her truck not even needing it. The next day someone came to the store and was talking about how they didn't have any furniture so she gave them the couch. She then said there was someone at the corporate office that watches their stores cameras in Monroe from Texas. She also said her name was George which was funny because Nia likes to call people George. She also told us about how she was kicked in the mouth by a horse when she was young.

Now do you see why we go to this specific store in the middle of nowhere it's not because of the gas or the food or anything else, the main reason to go here is to see Aluha or Aloha whatever you call her I call her awesome. Here's to many more good times like this in the future.

Captain Flat and No we're the Mac store!

As you may know this blog is daily but I am only trying to find two major things that happened during the day so that the blog is not so long and hard to read. My first encounter of the day came when I stopped by the Performance bike shop to buy some new tubes for my bike. I walked into the store and this girl who worked there smiled at me and that was cool. She had some crazy hair but that was cool. I looked around a little bit so I could see if I needed anything else and I bought a new pair of cut off gloves as well. I got to the register and guess what it was the girl who earlier smiled at me. I purchased 5 tubes and started a conversation with her about my friends calling me Captain Flat because of all the flats I get. I mean I have already gotten 2 on my new bike in the first week of riding. She said really that's interesting. That seems like a lot of tubes and I said yeah I guess I just ride hard. I was wondering what she was thinking.

Next I went across the street to the Mac store. I needed to get a minidvi to video adapter for my computer for the next China presentation. I walk into the store and look around trying to find what I'm looking for but am not seeing it so I sk one of the guys working behind the counter. He is a younger guy with a ring in his eyebrow and I ask him where it's at. He shows me where it's at and then he asks me what it's for and I told him but he said oh your resolution will not be that great and I told him that was OK. I figured he was probably trying to sell me something more expensive. He goes back behind the counter and rings up a young lady in front of me who had tatooes on the back of her neck and behind her ear which was different I had never seen one there before. I got up to the register and he asked me if I had ever bought anything at the store and I said no but I had been to a different one, the one in University Villiage and he goes "That's the Apple Store, we are the Mac Store they are totally different." I was like "oh sorry I was not sure about that." He was offended, it was interesting. I asked him how they were different and he said "the only real difference is that our classes are better.
Oh sorry I didn't see that on the sign outside. Anyway that was the day hope you enjoyed!

On another note I have been a little discouraged with Dex because she has been quite busy this week and has not been able to hang out. Oh well I can only do so much. I just try to invite her to everything that we do and hope that she wants to come and that she is free to come.

The video announcement idea is great and I have a great first episode now I have to pull the people together.

Frisbee Destroyed & Sickness as well!

Well today was a pretty awesome day! I worked in the morning for a side job and then went to the dump for the church with George. Afterward George and I went to Big 5 so that I could buy a new frisbee. I have wanted a frisbee so that I can go out and play anytime that I want with a nice frisbee so George just being himself is checking out the frisbee as he is holding it out the window. We get less than a mile from his house and he drops my frisbee out the window as we are driving up 24th. Dang it I haven't even had a chance to throw it yet and now it has a huge rip in it where it probably got run over by a bus or something. Oh well, it was actually funny because George felt so bad, I felt bad for him.

But the good news is that all 8 people who came to the Healing rooms received a touch from the Lord. I was quite worried at first because we only had one team but I guess God really is on the throne and He understands our needs. He didn't give us more than what could be handled. Jesus is so awesome!!

After healing rooms I got out of the box and went with Nia and Alaskan A to have a bit of bubble tea. It was cool to hang out with someone who I don't normally hang out with. I got out of my own comfort zone. It was pretty fun. Ciao peeps! Also by the way God gave me a great beginning for the video announcements.

Gruver's and Bare Chests

June 4th, 2007

Today was church. A most awesome day!! It was crazyness! The day started with an early wake up at 7:30. I don't normally do this but there were special circumstances. You see the night previous I was wiped because Saturday was a long day. On Friday I stayed up late getting ready for the Healing Rooms training which went awesome. The Holy Spirit was flowing through Megtar and I as we prayed for the new peeps. Then a bonus when we finished Dextrous my good friend was at the coffee shop studying and it was so awesome to see her, she has a special place in my heart.

Then preservice prayer where God was so sweet with his presence and then new banner of healing. Worship team started on time but was a little long because we tried out two new songs there was nothing wrong with that but new songs take time to develop. I really enjoy being a part of the David team. Megtar is a great leader and I always feel the Spirit moving through our team it is so cool. I really believe that playing together has really helped us be able to know better where each of us are going. Smackey is great to play with on the drums and man playing worship with this team is a load of fun.

Something just occurred to me I have been told that my blogs are long winded so my new leaf is I'm just going to say the things that majorly stuck out to me from the day and then go from there. Henry Gruver is this old guy who came and preached at our church the guy just had an electric personality. I was really impacted by his testimonies, one in particular put a crazy thought in my head, you see there is this so called witch coven that is across the street from the Pipeline center I was thinking dude why not just go in there and talk to them about the our father and that he had given me a message for them and then before I got there ask God for a word of prophecy to speak into this atmosphere and change the whole area around the building. I think that would be cool, what's wrong with that??

The other thing that stood out was my friends. Of course they are they coolest but man we all went to Greenlake so they could o swimming and I'm not much of a swimmer but I really like my friends so I go hang out with them. On the ride home from GL, George, 112 and I decided to ride our scoots home without our shirts. It was crazy because it started downpouring and I got soaked maybe I should have just went swimming that's how wet I was but we were a spectacle wherever we went. People were taking pictures of us, a bush waved at us as we beeped our horns and it generally put a smile on most of the people's faces as we approached and they realized "Hey those guys aren't wearing shirts, God I hope their wearing pants." Not really but hey thats funny. Well that's a good start let's see where it goes!!
